DLPHOTO is a Cape Town Photography School and Studio, started in 2009, offering a casual and comprehensive approach to the discipline, we help people find the rewards of photography as a lifestyle and profession. Our aim is to make photography accessible to everyone. With a practical, conversational approach and all cameras and gear supplied, we make it easy to start learning. DLPHOTO is dedicated in helping a new generation of photographers discover their skill and passion.

In addition, we also offer a fully equipped studio for rental, catering for both stills and video content alike to the individual and industry alike. We offer various packages to suit the requirements of all our clients that include top end lighting and studio gear for both applications. Ensuring that everyone is more than satisfied, we provide Profoto, Elinchrom and Broncolor options which are at your disposal as well as a comfortable environment to work. As a professional photographer, many years have taught me the importance of being able to deliver to budget, so my intentions have been to place the client first to make this a reality.

David Lazarus, founder of DLPHOTO has 14 years of industry experience in photography, working with leading international brands and celebrities alike. Providing photography is what we do. No job is too small or too large, our aim to take the brief from initiation to execution all under one umbrella and establish sound work relationships. Photography and meeting people has always been my first passion, so I decided to make this dream a reality.
