These views are a combination of mountains, Cape Dutch and Victorian architecture, trendy new architecture stylishly fitting in with the old, vineyards and olive trees, canola fields, almond and citrus trees, flocks of awe inspiring bird life, or droves of cattle grazing with their young – the possibilities are simply endless…
Summertime has sprung here in the Riebeek Valley, that is now also synonymous with everything ARTS. The trees and fields, which were boasting with dramatic yellow colours, are now alive with fresh new season nature’s hues. This region is also known as the home of Shiraz, a place of big-name vineyards including the likes of Kloovenburg, Riebeek Valley Wine Co, Meerhof Winery, and Allesverloren, whose producers run cellar tours for visitors to see how their wines are produced.
Why this Photography getaway is your number one choice
Most photo tours are designed and led by people who have never lived in the region, and are therefore not knowledgeable about the area. Their tours only stop at the most common sites, and don’t get into the heart of the place.
Fortunately we have David Lazarus, who will accompany the team, and he is a local of Riebeek Kasteel. He will share in his professional knowledge and expertise during the tour, but will also learn from his engagement with the photographic tour team.
David has been both fortunate and blessed to have established himself as a highly recognized and endorsed photographer and trainer at DLPHOTO in Cape Town. Over 15 years’ as an avid photographer, he has travelled extensively both locally and abroad as a destination photographer. He has provided photography tours and workshops, to both a local and international market, from a diverse background. It’s David dream to assist you to release your creative spark, in the finest locations, as he gives expert guidance and local knowledge, to ensure that you are afforded the best possible images.
