    Course Outline

    Instructor David Lazarus has over a decade of international experience in fashion and advertising photography, working with Adidas, Cosmopolitan, Nike and more, and is the ideal guide to help you start your career.

    This workshop will provide you with the tools and knowledge to start your career as a working photography professional. Learn how to establish your visual identity and brand and build a compelling portfolio, and generate work through effective networking and client relationship management. We’ll teach you how to interpret a client brief, and best practices on quoting and planning for a shoot.

    Best of all, our Marketing Toolbox will get you started with a modern portfolio website, business email and social platform to enhance your online presence and expand your business. This package includes:

    • Easy-to-use WordPress portfolio site
    • Responsive theme design suitable for all devices
    • Registered .co.za domain address and email
    • Hetzner hosting with SSL encryption
    • Facebook setup with site integration

    Hosting and domain renewal optional at R150 per annum.

    One 3-hour session, available by appointment Mondays to Fridays.
