JUST REGISTER ONLINE & WE WILL DO THE REST

ROBBEN ISLAND
A shared 40 minute boat trip to the Robben Island, where you will visit the museum and explore the island where former South African President Nelson Mandela was held as a political prisoner for 18 years. Your guide will be a former political Robben Island prisoner who will share this experience with you, including a visit to the prison cell that Nelson Mandela occupied during his incarceration. You will experience the vision and determination of Nelson Mandela on his Long Walk to Freedom. This is one of the most significant historic tours you will experience on your journey to Cape Town.
360 degree CITY SCAPES
A short distance from the The Victoria Alfred Waterfront, where we will finish our first part of the day, is Utopia, an Iconic Rooftop Restaurant on the 15th floor, boasting 360 degree uninterrupted views of the Mother City, Table Mountain, Lions Head, the Harbour, and Robben Island, it is “God’s Window” showcasing the peninsula in all its splendour. Enjoy a refreshing drink or a coffee before we move on to the final part of our day, the Bo Kaap, where we will start with a traditional meal at Bo-Kaap Kombuis Traditional Cape Malay Restaurant.
THE BO – KAAP (Malay Quarter)
The Bo-Kaap is a formerly racially segregated area, situated on the slopes of Signal Hill above the city centre and is the historical centre of Cape Malay culture in Cape Town. The Bo-Kaap is known for its brightly coloured homes and cobblestoned streets. The area is traditionally a multicultural neighbourhood and an excellent location for street and cultural photography.
