Our primary focus is teaching not only how to operate a camera but to understand settings and techniques to evaluate potential. Course Outline
Over two hands-on, 1 – hour sessions, or a one hands-on, 2 – hour session – you’ll learn the skills needed to shoot with confidence, whether you’re in the studio or outdoors.
Session 1 - Discovering the Camera
- Focus on your child’s interests and how they see the world.
- Explore the camera’s buttons, modes, and settings.
- Learn how the camera works and begin shooting in Manual Mode.
Session 2 – Hands-On Practice
- Apply skills learned in the first session.
- Practice techniques in different photography settings.
- Encourage self-expression and confidence in capturing moments.
What Your Child Will Learn
- Camera Basics: Understand how a camera works, from modes to settings.
- Manual Mode: Learn how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO affect photos.
- Composition: Simple tips for better photos and improving your child’s confidence.
