Practical 1:1 Portrait Photography Workshop in Cape Town
This one-on-one Portrait Photography Workshop is a practical session for photographers who want to improve their ability to photograph people and create stronger, more engaging portraits. The workshop is held in our Cape Town studio, where you will work hands-on with professional lighting and flash while learning how to control the light, compose your images and work confidently with your subject.
The workshop can be tailored to your experience and the type of portrait photography you want to explore, from personal and editorial portraits, to professional and creative work. You will learn how to build different lighting setups, use flash and studio lighting effectively, direct your subject and create natural expressions that bring personality into your photographs.
The emphasis is on practical shooting rather than complicated theory. You will work with professional high-end equipment used by professional photographers, try different lighting approaches and receive direct guidance throughout the session, giving you the confidence to apply what you learn to your own portrait photography.
